Mrs. Kate Starleper, nee Smith, died at the State Sanatorium, Sabillasville, Tuesday afternoon of complications at the age of 57 years.
She is survived by the following children: daughter, Mrs. Gladys High, Baltimore; sons, David, of Sharpsburg; Robert, Halfway; and Samuel E., Baltimore; sisters, Mrs. Frank Graves, Halfway; Mrs. John Kline, Boonsboro; Mrs. Emma Rice, Locust Grove; Mrs. Robert Fett, Baltimore; brothers, Charles Smith, Brownsville; Clarence Smith, Eakle's Mill.
Funeral left the home of son, Robert Starleper, at Halway; with services in the Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg; interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
