Pascal married Ella Frances Campbell (1852-1940) 22 April 1873 in Anoka. They soon moved to California, where their daughter, California "Calla" Julia Pratt was born in 1874. Pascal is listed as a registered voter in Almeda, Oakland, California in 1874.
By May 1, 1875, Pascal, Ella and Calla are back in Anoka, Minnesota, where their daughter, Minnesota Ella Pratt was born and died as an infant in 1876.
Their son, Archibald "Archie" Hazelton Pratt was born in Anoka in 1880, where Pascal and his family are listed as living with his father-in-law and family in the 1880 census. Their daughter, Ellen Ella Miriam Pratt, was born in Anoka in 1886.
Our last record of Pascal is from a newspaper: Thurs., 11 Apr 1889 in The Boston [Ma.] Weekly Herald: "P. F. PRATT, cashier of the First Nat'l Bank of Anoka, Mn., has stolen it is believed more than $100,000 from the bank, and considerable sums from other people, and fled to Canada."
Family history is that Pascal F. Pratt embezzled funds in Anoka, MN, April 1889, some months after his wife and children had left to live with her brother Cyrus in Boston. The reason for the separation was Pratt's affair with a young Anoka widow, Mrs. Jacobson. The Hutchinson family believed he went "back to England."
In the 1900 US Census, Ella, now divorced, is living in Anoka, Minnesota with Archie and Miriam.
