Naomi spent her early years and received her education in Wyoming and later made her home in Missouri. On December 18, 1926, she and Fred Peebles were married at Fresno, CA. They made their home in Fresno until 1955 when they moved to Sunnyside where they farmed. In 1960 they retired and moved to their home in Sunnyside. Her husband died August 16, 1973, and she continued to make her home in Sunnyside.
Naomi was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sunnyside, W.W.I. Barracks 565 Auxiliary and various garden and ladies clubs in the Sunnyside area.
Survivors are a number of nieces and nephews, including Jim Peebles of Sunnyside and Zoe Cohu, and a number of cousins. Naomi is preceded in death by an infant daughter, one sister, four brothers, and two nephews.
