Mrs. Ina Marie Taylor Maners, 67, of the Westover Community died Nov 12, 1965 in Baptist Hospital in Memphis after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at Westover Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Bray, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN with Smith Funeral Home in Charge.

Mrs. Maners was born Oct 10, 1898 in Madison County, near the Mercer Community. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Ophelia Leathers Taylor. She had lived in the Mercer area most of her life. She married Henry Oscar Maners on Jan 2, 1919 in Madison County, TN.

Mrs. Maners was a member of the Westover Baptist Church, TEL Sunday school Class, of which she was a former teacher for many years, Woman's Missionary Society, Adult Training Union Dept and was very active in all phases of the church until her health failed.

Survivors include four sons, Grady Maners and Jerry Maners of Westover, Billy Joe Maners of Tupelo, MS, and Jack Maners of Santa Cruz, CA; two daughters Alma Doris Maners of Westover and Mrs. Betty Jean Lewis of Memphis; two brothers, Vester and Houston Taylor of Mercer; two sisters. Mrs. Evelyn Curlin of Jackson and Mrs. Hattie Pearl Pentecost of Mercer; and 15 grandchildren.

Her body will remain at the funeral home until time for the service.

Deacons from the Westover Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
