Martinez, GA – Jackie Thompson, 85, wife of the late Delbert H. Thompson, entered into rest on Monday, November 19, 2012.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Westview Cemetery with Pastor Larry Gilpin officiating.
Mrs. Thompson retired from Sears where she worked in sales. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with family.
Survivors include her son; Roy Steven Thompson and wife Carol W. of Martinez, GA, daughter; Beth Thompson Axon of Augusta, GA, special niece; Vickie Williams and husband Johnny of North Augusta, SC, six grandchildren; Warren A. Wylds and wife Margaret, Jennafer Thompson, Pamela T. Kinnaird and husband Peter, Danielle E. Thompson, Dustin Axon, Katie Ann Jackson, four great grandchildren; Mathew Burnside, Lane Burnside, Andrew Wylds, and Mary Margaret Wylds. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her son, the late Mark Hennon Thompson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 11:30AM until 12:30PM at the funeral home.
