Obituary - Sat., March 8, 1952 - Morning Star (Rockford, IL) - Kline - Charles Kline, 77, 1841 Camp ave., died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 7, 1952 in St. Anthony hospital after a long illness. He was born Sept. 21, 1874 in Sweden. He came to this country 71 years ago, first settling in DeKalb. He lived 12 years in Rockford. He married the former Anna Larson in Sycamore Oct. 11, 1902. He was employed by the American Steel and Wire compnay, DeKalb for 42 years. Survivors include: his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Claude Middleton; a son, Clarence Kline, both of Rockford; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Fred C. Olson Mortuary, 1001 2nd ave. The Rev. Andrew J. Cornell, pastor of the Alpine Lutheran church, will officiate. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
