Ernest Lee Holt, 70, formerly of Hillenbrand House, died Friday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington. He was a native of Nelson County, a retired barber, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Chaplin Christian Church. Survivors: three sons, Stephen Holt of Lexington and Jeffrey and Terry Holt; a sister, Mary Evelyn Baker of Chaplin; three brothers, Carl Holt of Lexington, Virgil Holt of Georgetown and Harold Holt; and seven grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, Houghlin Funeral Home, Bloomfield. Burial: Highview Cemetery, Chaplin. Visitation: 1-5 p.m. Sunday. (Published in The Louisville Courier-Journal, Sunday, February 9, 1992)
