Geneva Short, 87, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Geneva was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Sallisaw, Okla. She was a member of Burleson Church of Christ. Survivors: Son, Jimmy Taylor; daughter, Patsy Foote; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother; two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and her little dog, Gracie.
