Mrs. Brewer, 60, a 27-year Freeport resident, died at her residence Thursday. Born in Olla, La., she was a retired nurse.
She had been employed at both Freeport and Community Hospitals. Mrs. Brewer was at Community Hospital for 14 years, where for a number of years she served as floor supervisor.
Officiating at the services will be Mr. Wilton H. (Gene) Johnston of Freeport Church of Christ.
Mrs. Brewer will be buried in Restwood Memorial Park under the direction of Lakewood Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Earl V. Brewer; one son, E. E. (Red) Brewer of Danbury; two brothers, Floyd Knighten of Cicily [sic Sicily] Island, La., and Lloyd Knighten of Vidalia, La.; one sister, Mrs. Nora Willis of Oak Grove, La.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be S. A. Richardson, T. H. Thomas, James A. Allan, Kenneth Bing, Jimmy Wilcox and W. S. Neal.
