Mrs. Concetta Rocosta Abatte, 78, of Staffordville, former Hartford resident, died Wednesday night at the South Willington Convalescent Home after a long illness. She was the widow of Louis Abatte.
A native of Italy, she was born Nov 1, 1887 and came to the United States in 1910, first living in Bridgeport. Later she moved to Hartford where she resided many years. She came to Stafford three years ago to make her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr and Mrs Angelo Abatte of Staffordville and granddaughter, Mrs. Wilbur Walker of Stafford. She was a communicant of St. Edward Church.
Besides her son, she leaves four daughters, Mrs. Minnie LaViolitte and Mrs Rose Peterson of Enfield, Mrs Jean Mazzeo of Madison and Mrs Josephine Adams of Andover; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
