Son of Lester and Ireta Fudge, he was a high school student, lived at PO Box 211, Cathlamet, died in Emanuel Hospital, Portland, where he had been 3 months, of bone cancer with metastasis wo lung, per death certificate 9869, whose informant was hospital records. Removed to Dowling Mortuary Jul 4 1963.

Gary Fudge, 17, of Cathlamet, died July 3 in a Portland hospital. He was born July 30, 1945 in Artesia, CA, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Fudge.

He lived in Skamokawa and Cathlamet since 1951, and graduated from Wahkiakum High School in May this year. He was president of the junior class, and the school chapter of the National Honor Society. He attended Boys' State in 1962, and was active in school athletics.

Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Della Winans of Alexandria, VA, Mrs. Karen Fox, of Batavia, NY, and Emma Jo Fudge, at home; and a brother, David, in the U. S. Navy.

Services will be at 11 am at the Methodist Church in Skamokawa with Rev. John Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Cathlamet.
