Mrs. David (Frances) Mortimer, 52, Route 1, Chilton, died Sunday at Calumet Memorial Hospital. She had been hospitalized about three weeks.

Born in Two Rivers, Oct. 6, 1907, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bartel, attended high school in Two Rivers and normal school in Manitowoc. She taught in the Chilton area for about nine years.

On Sept. 2, 1925, she was married to Mr. Mortimer at Two Rivers. She was affiliated with the Christian Mothers Society of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chilton.

She leaves her husband; one son, Thomas at home, a daughter, Loretta, at home; her mother of Manitowoc, and four brothers, Joseph and Frank of Sheboygan, George of New Jersey, and Peter of Two Rivers. Her father died Aug. 30, 1959.

Services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Schmitt, pastor, officiated as the celebrant of the Requiem Mass and burial was in the parish cemetery.
