Caroline Marie Bright, 91, of Kittanning, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at the Armstrong County Health Center. She was a resident at Melody Manor. Born Oct. 3, 1921, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of George and Hazel (Miller) Cornman. Caroline was married Oct. 8, 1938, to David L. Bright, of New Bethlehem. He preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1974. Caroline enjoyed dancing and bowling in her younger years, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an active member of the Gosford Union Chapel of Kittanning. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Cornman; and three sisters, Katheryn Solida, Mary Veronisi and Dorothy Cornman. Caroline is survived by her children, Amy (John) Waugaman, of Ford City, Wanda (Dennis) Clark, of Strattanville, and David (Janet Kay) Bright, of Chicora. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until the time of services at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the KENNEDY AND BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning with Pastor David Bright, retired, and Pastor Charles King, of Frontier Harvest Ministries, Ford City, officiating. Interment at Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
