The remains of Mrs. Martin, who died Feb 17 at the home of her sister, Mrs. Emil Krause near Kara Mountain, were laid to rest in Mt. Moriah cemetery yesterday afternoon following services from the Methodist Church. Christey Ann (Rand) Martin was born at Portage, Wis., Dec. 1st 1851 and while but a child, moved with her parents to LaCrosse where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage with Silas Martin in Sept., 1872 and came to Wyoming in May 1888 where she has since resided. Her husband proceeded her to the Great Beyond having been laid to rest in February, 1911.
Deceased leaves beside a host of friends to mourn her loss, two sons, John I. and George F. both of Crook County, and one brother, C.L. Rand of Nampa, Idaho.

Chrissey Ann Rand was born on 1 December 1851, in Portage, Wisconsin, United States, her father, John R. Rand, was 25 and her mother, Nancy Douglass, was 21. She had at least 2 sons with Silas Spear Martin. She lived in Crook, Wyoming, United States in 1910. She died on 17 February 1918, at the age of 66, and was buried in Sundance, Crook, Wyoming, United States.
