Mrs. William Sheldon, of 312 South Main street, died at the Hahnemann hospital on Saturday morning, where she was operated upon a week ago. The deceased had been ill for a year. She was thirty-nine years of age and was well known and respected. She is survived by a husband and the following children: Samuel, Ida, Maude, Willard, Eliza, Violet, and Catherine; also by her mother, Mrs. William L. Jones, of this town, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. John Rhontonda, of Rochester, N.Y.; Mrs. Oscar Thomas Taylor; Prof. W.L. Jones, of Pasadena, Cal.; Benjamin Thomas and John, of Taylor. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon.

Funeral of Mrs. Sheldon.
The funeral of Mrs. William Sheldon was held this afternoon from the family residence on South Main street and was largely attended. Long before the hour for the services to commence the home was crowded with friends and relatives.
Impressive services were conducted at the house at 2:30 o’clock by Rev. W. D. Reese, pastor of the Welsh Baptist church. Interment will be in the Forest Home cemetery .
