Hattie Young Epps, retired and a resident of Zachary, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at her home. She was 81 and a native of Port Hudson.
Survived by three daughters, Mary, Christine and Hattie Epps, all of Zachary; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Epps and Henry and Jessie Epps, all of Zachary; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and her husband. She was a member of Fontania Baptist Church and Deaconess Ministry.
