Richfield Springs -

Henry J Aspenwall, 81, of the Gressler Apartments in the Spring Park, died March 14, in the Clark Nursing Home, where he had been a patient for the past five weeks.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in Richfield Springs, with the Rev. Frederick C, Hurd of the St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Springfield Center, officiating. Burial will be later in Springfield Center Cemetery.

He was born September 1. 1874, in New Lisbon, son of David and Electa (Chase) Aspenwall. He attended school in New Lisbon.

He married Marguerite Vitmere in 1900 in Hartwick with the Rev. M. Fisher officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Aspenwall had lived since their marriage in the town of Springfield, where Mr. Aspenwall was caretaker on the Victor Salvatore estate for many years. They moved to Gressler Apartments last October.

He is survived by his wife of Richfield Springs; one son, Theodore A. Aspenwall, Springfield Center; one daughter, Mrs. Victor DeRosa, Syracuse; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Golden and Mrs. Ervilla Wiltse, both of Mohawk; and three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
