Richfield Springs -
Holly Cary, 71, Richfield Springs, one time operator of a candy store in Springfield Center, died February 25, at the Clark Nursing Home, here.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family Saturday at McGrath Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Sayles, rector of St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, officiating.
Mr. Cary was born in Springfield Center Oct. 7, 1898, son of Alfred C and Esther (Geesler) Cary. He attended Springfield Center schools. After leaving the Springfield Center Candy store, he was employed by the Pratt Hotel, Cooperstown.
He married Leila Sperry.
He was a World War veteran.
He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and of the American Legion.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Charles Bouteilier, Richfield Springs; one brother A. Lee, of Pleasant Valley.
