ADAMS: -- Fred Adams, the 16-year-old son of Gus. Adams, of 2308 S. Eighth street, died on Wednesday night, Nov. 8, at St. Joseph's hospital at Ashland, Wis. He was struck by a falling tree while at work in the woods near Ashland Tuesday and sustained a fractured skull, which was the cause of death. Gus Adams and his son Arthur, 1725 S. Fourteen street, went to Ashland Wednesday on receipt of the news of the accident. The body was brought here for interment. The deceased was born in Sheboygan and had lived here all his life. For some time past he had been working as a farm hand, and three weeks ago he left for Ashland to work in the woods. His mother died November 4, 1918.
