Well-Known Citizen Dies of Spinal Meningitis.
George Chester Springer, aged 34, of 1217 Duncan avenue, died of spinal meningitis yesterday after noon at about 5. He is survived by his wife and three children, and his father, G. W. Springer, of East Main street. The deceased had been employed at the Converse Bridge company for nearly eight years. The body will be sent to Graysville, Tenn., for burial today.
