Mary was born in to Alois and Anna(nee Vanicek) Kubicek. Her siblings were Mathilde Josehine Kubicek (Brezik) Find A Grave Memorial# 153121278 and Leopoldine "Pauline" Kubicek (Dushek) Find A Grave Memorial# 98899158, and Henriette Kubicek, and half sisters Aloisie Kubicek, Ernestine Kubicek, Josefine Kubicek. Mary and her three sisters were raised by their step mother, Franziska(nee?), as their mother died in 1887.

Mary, Mathilde and Leopoldine were passengers on the USS Koeln, Norddeutscher Lloyd ship line departing from Bremen, Germany Feb 2,1902 and arrived in Galveston, TX March 13, 1902. Their destination was Cameron, TX where they were sponsored by W. L. Baird, owner of a dry goods store and Citizen's National Bank of Cameron Cashier.

She was much loved by her family members. She died at the age of 29 years, 8 months and 11 days in New Braunfels, TX of Typhoid Fever after suffering for 15 days.
