A longtime resident of Portland, Andrew Bradbury was a cooper throughout his life. He married Deborah Cressey in 1805 and by the 1820 census at least six children had been born to them. He appears again in the 1830 census as head of a household of eight, and in Portland's directories throughout the period. Deborah predeceased him by almost 15 years and has a known plot and eroding stone at Eastern Cemetery. When he died in 1852 of dropsy, he was likely buried near her, but no stone has survived for him and his exact plot location has been lost.
