Leroy Holt was born to Tom and Ola on December 15,1922 He was their third child and joined Tommy Lee,and McNeal Leroy was the big brother to Josephine,Emmit Curtis and A.L.He completed his easly education in Hollard's Quarter Texas at a early age he showed an Independent spirit but did unite with the Baptist Church in Tx He resided in Dallas Tx,Palm Springs,and later became a homeowner in Los Angeles California Leroy was employed as a truck driver for contruction companies for over forty-five years.While living in Los Angeles he met and married Jennie Brown the mother of his children one son and five girlsafter retiring Leroy enjoyed his frritful years in Palm Springsand watching a variety of sport on television Leroy enjoyed interacting with his eleven grandchildren and nie great-grang childrenthat would be the joy into his senior years Leroy leaves to mourn a wife Jennie of Compton his brothers Curtis Holt of Palm Springs and A.L.Rowl of San Diegohis children son Johnny Brown,of compton Doris Jackson of Hawthorne,Mary Fong(Harry)of Shreveport,Lousiane,Margaret Ligon of Compton,Blondell Holt of Palm Springs and Pat Holt of Tx.his grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildrenand a host of family and friends.
