Funeral Is 1:30 Today for Mrs. Albert Slobe, 85
Funeral services will be held at Central Reformed church here at 1:30 p.m. today (Thursday) for Mrs. Albert Slobe, 85, former Sioux Center resident, who passed away at a San Diego, Cal., rest home Friday afternoon.
She had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Wallace
Young, at San Diego the past 16 years.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Albert Ten Clay and burial will be made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.
A brief service at the funeral home at 1 p.m. will precede the service at the church.
Mrs. Slobe was born in Sioux Center March 21, 1881. Her husband preceded her in death on October 4, 1950.
Survivors include five sons, William and Art of San Diego, Fred of Sioux Falls, Elmer of Levenworth, Kan., and James of Algona, Iowa, and two daughters, Mrs. Wallace Young of San Diego and Mrs. Leonard Visser of Sioux Center.
