Leslie was the son of Louis and Annie Snoots Frye. He was survived by his daughter Bonnie Spann, 2 grandchildren and sister Virginia Nicholson.
Leslie was a military veteran and a member of the Steadman-Keenan American Legion Post in Brunswick, Maryland. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1582 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1136 in Brunswick. He was an auto mechanic, having worked at Nicholson's Service Station in Petersville (owned by his brother-in-law) and Litten Chevrolet and Garage in Brunswick.
