HOLD SERVICES SATURDAY FOR ACE CALDER, 54
Funeral services will be held Saturday for George [Ace] Calder, 54, former star bowler who died Monday in Passavant hospital.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception church, 1412 N. Park av., with interment in All Saints cemetery. His body will be in the chapel at 409 W. North av., starting tonight.
Calder is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ethel Calder, and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Hagge, Mrs. Evelyn Kloss, and Mrs. Bette Blinn, all of Chicago.
Calder bowled with the famous Keeley Half and Half team that still holds the Illinois record of 3,629 for three games. He rolled three sanctioned 300 games and had an 815 series in 1948 while averaging 216.
