Prof. Albert Britt, Tenth President of Knox College from 1925-1936, died on 2-18-1969 in Worcester, Massachusetts.

He is the son of Edward & Sarah {Foster} Britt of Kelly Twp. in Warren County, Illinois, and the husband of Dorothy {Wellinton} Britt, and they were married in Illinois on September 10, 1921, and he is survived by his wife and two daughters.

That we know, there are two sisters: Frannie H. and Mary J.; and three other brothers: Fred E., Philip F., and Charles E. Britt.

Professor Britt is an 1898 graduate of Knox College, and did his post graduate studies at Columbia University in New York,

After his retirement from Knox College, he became a professor of History at Scripps College in Claremont, California.
