ROSIE PADGETT
Rosie Padgett, 79, of Waynesburg, died Wednesday, April 10 at the Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

A native of Pulaski County, she was born June 4, 1916 to the late George Adams and Iola Gastin Adams. She was a homemaker, a member of Pleasant Point Baptist Church and the widow of Hubert Padgett.

Survivors include four sons, Jim Padgett, Arlie Padgett, Roger Padgett, and Shane Padgett, all of Waynesburg; three daughters, Joyce Coleman of McKinney, Lucille Justice of Stanford, and Eva Lynn Hazlett of Stanford; two sisters, Lucy Smith of Muncie, Indiana, and Laura Kidd of Eubank; 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 13 at the Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home with Rev. Vola Brown and Bro. Harold Carter officiating. Burial was in Double Springs Cemetery.
