Elinor McLoughlin Turner, 86, formerly of Troy passed away peacefully after a brief illnes Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of Frank J. McLoughlin and Ida Soucy McLoughlin and wife of the late Thomas R. Turner who died in 1980. Elinor loved to play bingo and go to the casino to play the slots. Loving mother to Linda Bradshaw (Fred) of Clifton Park, Cheryl Bourgault of Brunswick and Thomas F. Turner of Cohoes; beloved grandmother of Fred (Janet) Bradshaw, Scott Bradshaw and Todd (Jackie Bradshaw, Deanna (Ed) Shea and Thomas "TJ" Turner; greatgranchildren Cody, Sean, Conor, Logan, Teagan, Cooper, Chloe and Bridget; she is also survived by a sister, Shirley Kelly of Winter Haven, FL and a special nephew Charles Fox and his wife Patricia and several nieces and nephews. Elinor was predeceased by her brothers, John, George, Daniel, Frank Jr., and Peter McLoughlin; and a sister Elizabeth Fox. A special thank you......(caregivers at facility). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Ave., Lansingburgh with Rev. David Jones officiating.
