William Leroy Eastham, 70, of Pine Grove, died in the Wetzel County Hospital on Sunday, May 31, 1953, after an illness of one week. He was a retired Wetzel County school teacher and deputy assessor for Grant District.
Surviving are his wife, Dora Miller Eastham; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Myers of Salem, WV.; three brothers, six sisters and one grandchild. The brothers are Charles of Iuka, Tyler Co., George of New Martinsville, RFD 2 and Clyde Eastham of Wellsburg, WV. The sisters, Mrs. Laura Cross, Wellsburg, Mrs. Mollie Butler, Weirton, Mrs. Martha Lemasters, Middlebourne, Mrs. Emma Mason, New Martinsville, Mrs. Goldie Rice, Wellsburg, and Mrs. Jessie Ueltschy of Porters Falls, WV. Pat Gibbons held funeral services in the Pine Grove Church of Christ, of which the deceased was a member on Tuesday, June 2, and interment was made in Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville by the Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove.
