Funeral services for Shirley Ann Weeks, 77, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 3 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Steve Killam officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Weeks was born December 27, 1934 in Palestine, Texas to the late Janie Lucille (Albright) and Frank Leroy Killebrew. She died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Weeks was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was an active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She loved her church, and read for the quilters at the church. Mrs. Weeks loved to crochet, and she loved to talk. Formerly of Palestine, she had lived in Lufkin for the past 45 years.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Raymond Weeks; children and their spouses, Richard and Vikki Weeks, Charles Riddle, Allan and Kim Riddle, Theresa and Mike Fulton, Debbie and Larry Williams, Claude Riddle, Frank Riddle, and Mona and Jason Havard; special granddaughter, Gracie Weeks; sister, Barbara Killebrew Butler; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Preceding Mrs. Weeks in death were her parents; sisters, Wanda Killebrew and Marilyn Vanessa Killebrew; granddaughter, Renee Williams Spear; daughter-in-law, Kathi Riddle; and stepson, Morris Weeks.
