Mrs. Maxie Caudill has been informed by the War Department that her husband, Pfc. Carl Caudill, died Sept. 24th in the European area of coronary occlusion. Pfc. Caudill left the states sometime in September. Besides his wife, Pfc. Caudill is survived by his father, Rev. Buddy Caudill, and several brothers and one sister, all of Linefork.
