Mrs. Eula Mooney Whitaker, of Coldwater, 77, died yesterday morning at Lincoln County Hospital, following a long illness.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. today at the Washington Street Church of Christ. R. A. Largen and the Rev. M. K. Harwell officiated. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitaker was a native of the Coldwater community.
She was the widow of J. E. Whitaker, who died several years ago.
Her parents were Willard and Sally Young Mooney. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roy Ables of the Harms community, and a son, T. J. Whitaker of Coldwater; a stepdaughter, Mrs. W. D. Flanagan of Coldwater; three stepsons, Joe Whitaker and Howard Whitaker of Coldwater, and James Whitaker of Nashville; three sisters, Mrs. H. M. Harrison of Decatur, Alabama, Mrs. Cullen George of Chapel Hill, and Mrs. James Robertson of Taft.
