Mrs Ellen M. Ainsworth, of 602 West Ninth street, died Tuesday morning at her home following a three-week illness.
Mrs Ainsworth was born In Rio Wis, She moved to Duluth, Minn and made her home there until moving to this city one and a half years ago.
A member of the Methodist church since 1880, Mrs, Ainsworth was a member of the First Methodist church in Duluth and an active member of the ladies aid and misslonary societies of that church.
She is survived by her husband Frank H. Ainsworth of Traverse City; a son, E. C, Ainsworth, of Traverse City; a grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Thursday from Martinson funeral home. Rev. Alvin Doten
will officiate. Interment will be a Oakwood cemetery (Traverse City Record Eagle, 19 October 1955, page 8, column 4).
