Bessie Hutchens Brame Bradshaw

MADISON Mrs. Bessie Hutchens Brame Bradshaw, 94, formerly of 910 Rierson Road, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Britthaven of Madison.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Bradshaw was born in Patrick County, Va., was a homemaker, and was a member of New Lebanon Congregational Christian Church. She was preceded in death by husbands, George Brame and Roy F. Bradshaw; and sons, Glenn and Wayne Brame.

Survivors include sons, Elton "Bud" Brame of Liberty and Dennis Brame of Summerfield; daughters, Marie Smothers of Reidsville, Lois Beaver of Madison, JoAnn Harrell of Stokesdale and Betty Durham of Lugoff, S.C.; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at the home of Marie Smothers, 865 Bethany Road, Reidsville.
