Herman Frederick Lipke, 62, died at his home at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, following a stroke. Mr. Lipke was born in Germany, Dec. 20, 1864, and came to America when 20 years of age. Since then, he has always lived in the vicinity of Edgerton.
He was married to Mary Stokke soon after arriving here, and she died 29 years ago. He later married Mrs. Lena Stewart, who survives him. Five sons, Edward, Frank, William, and Fred, of Edgerton, and Albert, of Roundup, Mont.; one daughter, Mrs. Fena Perry, Roundup; and two step-daughters, Mrs. Pearl Bobb and Miss Lutie Stewart, Edgerton, also survive.
