She is survived by her sons, Eugene Trick of Broomfield, Colo., and Robert Trick of Chula Vista, Calif.; daughter, Laurie Trick of Greenfield, Wis.; and grandsons, Nathan, Brian and Kyle.
Gladys was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edmund and her son David.
She was born at home in Golden Lake, Wis., to Arnholt and Dora Bente. She became a registered nurse after graduating from the Milwaukee Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. She and Edmund were married in 1947 and lived in Milwaukee and St Francis, Wis., until they retired in 1981 and moved to Rio Rancho, N.M. Gladys was an active member of All Saints Lutheran Church, serving as a member of the Esperanza Circle and the Altar Guild. She was a volunteer for 22 years at The Storehouse in Albuquerque.
