Hazel is survived by daughter, Maria Peeler and husband, Jeff, of Newton; sons, Glenn W. Beal and wife, Elaine, of Newton, David R. Beal of Conover; brother-in-law, Coyte Beal of Newton;
sisters-in-law, Alice Barnes and husband, Tommy, of Newton, Beatrice Beal of Newton; grandchildren, Jeremy Beal of Lincolnton, Kristi Goble and husband, James, of Hudson,
Gregory Peeler of Newton; step-grandson, Dale Leonhardt of Hickory; great-grandchildren, Kobi Beal, Aidan Coffing; lifelong friends, Joe and Nancy Killian of Newton.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Beth Eden Lutheran Church with Rev. Marcus Ollis officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton and at other times at the home.
