A graduate of Holy Redeemer College and Catholic University in Washington D.C., this longtime Whittier resident was a retired professor of Philosophy and Ethics at Rio Hondo Community
College who devoted his life to the causes of fairness, equal opportunity, and social justice.
He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia, daughter Mari, and son Miguel as well as his sisters Lupe, Dolores, and Marta. His brother, Michael, preceded him.
