Mrs. Arabella M. Brice, widow of Thomas Brice, died at her home near Thurmont about 3 o'clock Tuesday morning after a ten-days illness of paralysis, aged 79 years, 4 months and 29 days. She was a daughter of the late David and Mary Staub. She is survived by four sons; William, near Thurmont; James, near Thurmont; George, Catoctin Furnace and Mahlon Brice, at home; also three daughters, Mrs. M. H. Freshman, near Thurmont; Mrs. Charles Weddle, Gettysburg, and Mrs. David Ridenour, near Thurmont; one brother, Davinport** Staub, Legore. and forty grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Thursday afternoon with a short service at the home at 1:30 o'clock and further services at Harriott chapel, Catoctin Furnace, at 2 p.m. Rev. W. K. D?muth will officiate. Interment Thurmont United Brethren cemetery. Wilhide and Creeger funeral directors.
