He was a graduate of Weaver High School in 1940 and Hillyer College of the University of Hartford.
He was a long time member of the Agudas Achim Synagogue in West Hartford and was a past President of it's Men's Club.
He worked for Russak Brother's Sand & Gravel as an office manager for many years.
