CONCORDIA — Betty B. Swihart, 78, Concordia, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002. Mrs. Swihart was born Betty B. Boling on July 8, 1924, at Clyde.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Sr.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Pauline Cyr of Clyde and Sue Nelson of Formoso; three sons, Rex Jr. and Mike, both of Concordia and Arlan of Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Jean Benge of Topeka; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Memorials may be made to American Foundation for the Blind of the Savanne Gonzales Memorial Fund, in care of the family, or Swedish-American Bank, P.O. Box 350, Courtland 66939.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, 325 W. Sixth, P.O. Box 606, Concordia 66901.
