John E. Blair, 82, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Milwaukee, WI.
John was a native of Fort Wayne and a drafting supervisor with Magnavox for 34yrs years, retiring in 1991. He was a 1949 graduate of North Side High School. John enjoyed woodworking, RC airplanes, Lionel Trains and story telling.
He loved his family which include his wife of 62 years, Patricia Blair, son, David (Lisa) Blair, grandchildren, Caroline, Betsy and Jack Blair all of Wauwatosa, WI, step-grandson, Richard (Ashley) Loza of Pensacola, FL, daughter-in-law Christine Blair of Arroyo Grande, CA, brother, Michael Blair of Leesburg, VA, and sister, Beth Daley of Naples, FL.
John was preceded in death by his son Terry Blair in 2011, infant stillborn daughter, Tina Marie Blair, brother, Tom Blair, sister, Marilyn Rosenthal, and parents Sidney and Violet Blair.
Service is 2 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with Fr. Robert D'Souza officiating, calling 1 hour prior to service.
Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, with Marine Corp. Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the Dept. of Veteran Affairs in Fort Wayne or Milwaukee or Animal Control Centers in Fort Wayne or Milwaukee.
