JOE ESQUIBEL was born Monday, March 22, 1926 in Santa Ana, California, son of the late Juan and Beatrice (Almager) Esquibel. He passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 in Riverside, California at the age of 86 years. Joe served our country with pride and honor as a member of the United States Navy. A 50 year resident, he worked 33 years as a truck driver for Western Waste Management Co.
Joe was preceded in death by two sons Joseph Esquibel, Patrick Esquibel, and two grandson's Ernie Allen Esquibel Jr. and Florencio Esquibel Ramirez. He is survived by the mother of his children and former wife, Virginia Esquibel; sister Annie of San Marcos, CA; brother Victor Esquibel of Hemet; children, Linda Flanigan of Sylmar, CA, Olivia Esquibel of Riverside, CA, Josephine Zavala of Riverside, CA, Ernie Esquibel of Riverside, CA Roberta Polder of Riverside, CA. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home for visitation Friday, January 4, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A.M. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. in the "Grace Chapel" of Grimes-Akes Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery.
