MacKenzie L. Badman, 16, residing in Wadsworth, IL, and formerly of River Park, South Bend passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at her home. She was currently a sophomore at Cyd Lash Academy, Gages Lake, IL and previously attended Nuner Elementary and LaSalle Academy in South Bend.
MacKenzie is survived by her maternal grandparents, Carolyn "Mom" and Roger Erhardt with whom she resided; father, Dustin (Tonya) Badman of Elkhart; mother, Rani Keller of Niles, MI; paternal grandmother, Melinda Badman of Warsaw, IN; two sisters, Haili Cherry of Mishawaka and Autumn Badman of Elkhart; two brothers, Camdyn Keller of Niles and Korey Alexander of Bremen; and two aunts, Nikki Gropp of South Bend and Nicole Badman of Bristol, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 7, 2013 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend where friends may visit one hour prior to services. Pastor Leo Barnes of Christ Community Church, Zion, IL will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
