Benjamin Mackey, aged 44, a resident of Sterling, Colo., passed away at the St. Francis hospital in this city at 6 o'clock Monday morning, death resulting from heart trouble. He was brought to the hospital here one week ago for medical treatment. He was born in Taylor county, Iowa, Oct. 14, 1880. In 1901 he was united in marriage with Miss Nellie Lawson, at Clarinda, Ia. Besides his widow, an adopted daughter survives him, as also four brothers and four sisters. The body will be taken to Fall City, Nebr., for burial.
