Edward Ernest (aka Bob) Vierk was the son of William and Louise (nee Becker) Vierk. He was born April 12, 1903 in rural Ecorse Township, Michigan. On June 22, 1929, he married Leona Martha Unger. Together they had 3 children. Bob and Leona were separated for many years. Upon his death Bob was buried with his parents in Woodmere Cemetery. His widow Leona remarried a few years later to Hubert William Lang.
