RUDOLPH WOMAN ENDS OWN LIFE

Mrs. Maude Marie Grunewald, wife of William Grunewald, farmer living a short distance east of Rudolph, ended her life with a sharp instrument shortly before four o'clock this morning. The body was found be her husband and young son in the kitchen of the farm home. Despondency over ill health was given as the cause for the act.

Mrs. Grunewald was born in Woodford, La Fayette county, Wisconsin, on December 25, 1897. At the age of 16 she came with her parents to Rudolph, and on November 7, 1817, was united in marriage to Mr. Grunewald. The home was always in the town of Rudolph, Wood county.

Surviving besides her husband are one son, Floyd, 12, one daughter, Esther, 10, both parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emra Trickle, seven brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held from the home Thursday at 1:30 p.m., to the church in Rudolph, where services will be conducted at 2 o'clock. The Rev. john R. Hoesman will officiate. Interment will be made in the Forest Hill cemetery here.
