Edward Abegg, 71 years old, died at his home, 501 North Sixth street, at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
He was born in Belleville July 4, 1851, and was married to Katie Froelin twenty-eight years ago.
He leaves his wife and the following children; Edward, Peter, Henry and Joseph Abegg; Mrs. Lena Ganbatz, Mrs. Elizabeth Oberbauer; one step-son, Frank Meyer and fifteen grandchildren.
The funeral will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday from the home to St. Peter's Cathedral, thence to Green Mount Cemetery.
