BRANDT, ARNOLD May 30, 1911 - Dec. 26, 2004. Arnold Brandt passed away peacefully on Dec. 26, 2004, in Aptos, Calif. He was born May 30, 1911, in Fitchburg, Mass., and lived in Portland from 1952 to 2002. He had been the Western Manager for Simonds Saw and Steel Co., a member of many civic organizations, clubs and the First Congregational Church. Mr. Brandt will be laid to rest in River View Cemetery with his loving wife of 67 years, Lillian S. Brandt, who predeceased him on Sept. 7, 2001. Survivors who will deeply miss him include his daughter, Elizabeth B. Hough of Pebble Beach, Calif.; his son, Frederick A. Brandt, of Latham, N.Y., and three grandchildren. Remembrances to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
